The Wilesco D48 was orginally made to be fitted into a boat and used as a marine steam power plant, this one has been mounted onto a wooden board by the previous owner.
It appears never to have been fired up as yet. The engine is a slide valve style twin cylinder complete with reverser and oilers, the boiler is gas fired and sight glass on boiler end.
