MLI Stuart Turner For Schools Live Steam Engine Model Unusual Ideal Project
Regular price
£75.00
Here we have what I understand to be an M L I live steam engine, an interesting and worthwhile Project.
Think these were made for and supplied to Schools for educational use, a bit like the Griffin and George engines I guess, probably dates back to the 1960's / 1970's.
The business parts such as the boiler and little S T engines were supplied by Stuart Turner, there is also a gas burner in place (untested). Safety valve unscrews and tightens as it should do.
The baseplate is approx 29 cm x 19.5 cm and there is only 1 threaded retaining rod in place, please study the pictures these appear to be quite unusual so well worth saving.
