Have you got  a Mamod traction engine or  steam roller that is missing the scuttle unit,   the burner handle fits through the central slot and the scuttle then clips on the lugs on the rear of the firebox.

The scuttles complete the look of a Mamod engine but its surprising how many get seperated and lost from the engines.

This is the earlier gloss black one used through the sixties and are slightly taller than the modern ones due to Mamod making them shorter so they did not foul the bodies on the green steam wagon when they were introduced in the early 1970's.
